Charlotte's 18 month stats

We had Charlotte's 18 month doctor's visit after Thanksgiving. The whole time she said "doctor", "boo boo", and "band aid". She now weighs 28 pounds and is 34 inches tall - in the 90 - 95%. Unfortunately, we had to get several shots plus the H1N1 - no fun for either of us!

Baby #2 is on the way!

"Sons are a heritage from the LORD,
children a reward from him."
Psalm 127:3

Baby #2 is on the way! We are very excited to announce that we will be having another addition to our family come early July. I am about 11 weeks pregnant now and feeling every minute of it. I had nausea with Charlotte but not quite this bad. Hopefully, I'll start feeling better soon. We had our first ultrasound on Monday and everything looks great. We are very thankful for this gift from the Lord!

Thanksgiving pictures

I am so late with this post as our computer has not been working for 2 weeks now. There is something wrong with the screen so we occasionally hook it up to the TV monitor to use! I must admit it has been nice not to have the "noise" of the internet and email each day.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family in Spartanburg. Here are some pictures with the Moxley family:

Fall Festival

We went to our church's Fall Festival this past weekend. Charlotte was a little ladybug and was adorable! She loved to jump on the huge blow up thing (I'm not sure what its called!) and pick up the ducks out of the pool. Here are some pictures before we went:

Pumpkins

David's parents came into town this week and we were able to go check out pumpkins which Charlotte loved! She is getting so big, saying new words everyday, dancing a lot (swaying her hips back and forth), and has a new tooth (top incisor) with another one about to emerge as well. Here are some pictures of her with the pumpkins:

Litchfield Beach Trip

We went to Litchfield Beach the end of September with the Brown family and had so much fun! Charlotte wore herself out each day on the beach while we all relaxed. We played lots of games and enjoyed some great food.

Some updates on Charlotte - she officially dropped her morning nap after 14 months. She tries to say just about everything I say to her now. Some of her favorite words are Dadda, Momma, Mimi, Mak (Mike - my dad), Sahra (which is how she says Russell), Wawa (water), Papa (Choppa aka Chip, David's Dad), dog, and ball. Some of her friends that she likes to talk about are Abigail (whom she refers to as Ah), Ashley and Andy (whose parents are Vietnamese refugees that we are friends with). Charlotte also has begun to tell me when she goes to the bathroom, specifically #2, which makes me think we may be able to potty train soon!

Here are some beach pics:

Update

I have been so bad at updating our blog during the summer! We had a wonderful summer...Charlotte and I took a trip to lake Toxaway & Spartanburg, and then we headed to Swainsboro to see some of my Dad's side of our family. Here are some pics from the summer.

Charlotte with my cousin's son Jim. They really hit it off! Jim brought Charlotte a special monkey from Cracker Barrel, they "marched" around a lot, and by the end of the day were taking a bath together.

My 10 Year High School Reunion

This past month we went to my 10 year high school reunion in Spartanburg, SC. It was so much fun! I loved seeing everyone but especially the girls I still keep in touch with. Some of these girls I've known since preschool!

Beach Trip & Charlotte's 1st Birthday

We went to the Ocean Isle, NC with my family the last week of May and had a great time. We were right on the ocean so every morning Charlotte would get up and point out the window, basically trying to get someone to take her out there! We ate great seafood, hung out on the beach, and just relaxed.

We also celebrated Charlotte's 1st birthday! I can't believe Charlotte is a toddler, and she is walking around everywhere now. She wasn't too interested in her cupcake though. She just played with it and wanted the chips we were all eating. Charlotte, you are such a wonderful gift from the Lord, we thank God each day for you!

Yay! I'm in a hole!
