Valentine's Weekend

David and I celebrated a very romantic Valentine's Day....well not really, but it was tons of fun anyway! We actually went to lake Toxaway with our friends the Appletons and the Hornes. We all drove up friday afternoon and barely made it there because of all the snow! Our car and the Hornes' car got stuck on the way up so Nate and David had to get out a couple of times and push our cars out of the snow and ice. Thankfully, the Appletons have 4-wheel drive and were able to make it more easily. I didn't take as many pictures as I wanted and don't have a picture of Nate and Joni - hopefully I'll be able to add some pics of them later to this post as I get them.

Valentines Day 2010 - the Browns (the lake is frozen over in the background).

Everyone had a child strapped to them for our walk except for me, but being 20 weeks pregnant might count too?!

Train Ride

Charlotte and I went with Choppa and Nene to ride the train (light rail) this past week. Charlotte wasn't sure about it at first but she soon loved it. We took it from the end of the line to Uptown and looked around the ImaginOn, the children's museum / library. We ate lunch at Brixx's pizza and of course had to grab a cookie before heading back. Charlotte passed out in the car on the way - she had a lot of fun!

Its a....

Its a ....baby! Despite my extreme curiousity, we decided not to find out the sex of baby #2. We had our ultrasound where they scan the whole body - heart, brain, etc. and everything looks very healthy! We are so thankful to God for this new gift of life!

Winter Weather

We actually had some snow here recently though it was probably only an inch! Its also been raining a lot here too which can be tough when Charlotte wants to go outside everyday. Here are some pics from the "big snow" and others of Charlotte.
